Episode 112 Listener Questions and Feedback

Today I take another round of questions and feedback!

*Propagating tomatoes from cuttings.  Might be a good tip for someone using my pruning video.

*Some basics on greywater.

*How to transplant and divide asparagus that’s in a bad spot and the best time to do so (don’t follow my example of transplanting in summer!).

*Will sunchokes from the store grow?  Maybe.

*How to deal with June bugs.

*Is there any squash that compares to zucchini in terms of production?

*Why do poultry pamphlets specify separation between poultry and wild birds?  How does this affect what I’m doing?

*An answer from University of Kentucky’s Professor Deborah Hill (Mushroom growing expert!) on how to propagate additional mushroom spawn and why its not a good idea.

Jason, yes the E is for Ed. Thanks for your response about the yellow spots on my Bell Peppers. After I asked the question, I kinda came to the same conclusion so I added some compost and the miracle drug worked… no more yellow spots.

Hang in there on the move. I am envious of both You and Jack for being to get closer to your dream. Thanks for all you do.

See you in Seven Springs in Sept,

    Ed
