I’m fine with most bugs, but these kind of freak me out. I swear one time a Praying Mantis spit at me. Is that possible?

These guys are definitely not a bug you want to play around with. If you live in the Southern Hemisphere they are definitely not something you want to play around with.

I’ve never heard of a praying mantis spitting at someone. I’ve seen them spit though but never with force. It just kind of bubbles at their mouth. Now a walking stick most definitely can spit. I’ve had them spit on me when I was a kid and too curious!
