Looks like Harlequin Bug
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harlequin_cabbage_bugI just bought a book Insects of North America and I'm trying to digest it all.
Its best to kill bugs at their larval stage. When you talk about things like beetles and stinkbugs, they are much easier fodder for predators BEFORE they develop defenses and hard shells. But there are predators and methods to kill them as adults as well, just much harder.
